These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Akard website at akard.ai (the “Site”), operated by The Big Lease, Inc. (“we,” “us”). By accessing the Site or submitting an engagement application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site and engagements
The Site presents information about Akard and lets you submit an engagement application. The Site is informational; it does not itself create any service relationship. Any actual engagement is governed by a separate written agreement between you and us, which controls in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
No professional advice
Akard provides software and operations tooling. We are not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, bank, accountant, or law firm, and we are not your fiduciary. Nothing on the Site is investment, legal, financial, accounting, or tax advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and should consult your own qualified advisors.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access;
- Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or false information;
- Do not scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the Site except as permitted by law.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including the Akard and Estable marks, are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to view the Site for its intended purpose.

Statements on the Site about future capabilities, market size, or outcomes are aspirational descriptions of our goals and are not promises, guarantees, or projections of any result.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
